Our Story

A mission to bring the Wine of Greece to all – from ancient roots to modern day.

Our wine draws inspiration from old and new Greece. From the ancient symposiums where knowledge was shared to Athens today where friends gather at the taverna to unwind over great food and wine, Little Owl captures the timeless nature of sharing ideas in good company.

In connecting the past and present, Little Owl invites you to gather and create moments, memories, and experiences in good company.

Because good ideas are universal, and great taste is timeless.

Ancient Athenian coins with the owl of Athena — wisdom and discovery

The Owl of Athena: Wisdom and Discovery

Our inspiration is drawn from the Owl of Athena, representing wisdom, foresight, and the joy of discovery and experience. In this spirit, Little Owl is a gateway to the wine and culture of Greece, inspiring occasions where connections are intentional and enduring.

Philoxenia: The Art of Sharing

Wine around the table is an expression of Philoxenia, the Greek tradition of sharing. Originating in ancient times, today Philoxenia exists as an unspoken rule to extend hospitality to all, a legacy which Little Owl is proudly a part of.

Our Vineyards

Our grapes are sourced from two PGI zones throughout Greece. Central Greece is home to our Assyrtiko, growing near historic Kithaironas. Our Agiorgitiko comes from Nemea in the Peloponnese, one of Greece’s most productive wine regions. We partner with family-run wineries and winemakers whose years of experience and commitment to modern winemaking techniques ensure consistent quality, respect for the land, and impressive terroir.

Central Greece — The area of PGI Central Greece is on the west side of Attica and includes the area of Erythres and Plataies.

Peloponnese — Located in the southernmost part of the Balkan peninsula, it represents Greece's largest and most productive wine region.
